Just a base of tomato juice, some spice, some salt, and a bit of umami creates the most popular of the savory cocktails, even before you throw in the vodka. Here we use the brine from a jar of pickles instead of Vodka to give a bit of an unexpected sour and briny punch. It’s a delicious non-alcoholic twist on the classic drink.
